Description
The case comes with a wall bracket featuring an innovative one-handed quick-release catch. The kits contents comply fully with the British Standard minimum content for workplace first aid kits. 2 tamper-proof studs are provided to deter people from opening the kit unnecessarily. This also greatly simplifies regular first aid inspections (as recommended by the HSE) as you can see at a glance whether the kit has been opened and contents likely removed.
To ensure the kit won’t be opened for minor incidents, the Evolution First Aid Station also includes three handy dispensers to give quick access to popular items without depleting the first aid box. Plasters are the most commonly used item and the most likely to be taken for home use. The Salvequick pilfer-proof plaster dispenser prevents this, as it’s only possible to remove one plaster at a time, and removing the plaster immediately exposes the adhesive. Plasters can easily be applied with one hand. The dispenser is locked to prevent the plaster packet being removed. It contains high-quality allergenic fabric and washproof plasters in two sizes.
In addition to the plaster dispenser, an eye wash dispenser contains 10 20ml sterile saline eye wash pods, for rinsing irritants like dust or small insects out of the eye. These can also be used to cleanse wounds. Finally, the sterile moist wipe dispenser includes 50 individually wrapped wipes which are suitable for cleaning wounds and the surrounding skin before applying a dressing.
The station also includes a plastic A5 frame and is supplied with 4 first aider inserts, allowing you to write the names and locations of up to five first aiders, so people know where to turn following an accident or illness. Following personnel changes, these can easily be removed and replaced with a fresh insert.
